Workers’ Compensation

For five decades, Fazzano & Tomasiewicz, LLC, has represented the injured worker with great pride, helping them to navigate the pratfalls and missteps so common to workers’ compensation law. Most workers are unaware that the State of Connecticut, in most instances, does not allow an employee to sue his employer for an injury suffered on the job. Instead, workers must navigate a complex statutory scheme to ensure that they receive the medical care and compensation to which they are entitled. Workers’ compensation statutes do not allow for recovery due to “pain and suffering,” but our familiarity with workers’ compensation law has allowed us to maximize our clients’ recovery and resolve literally thousands of claims. Our skill has won us the trust of a construction laborers’ union in Hartford, whose members we represent in many claims arising out of the scope of their employment.
